I’m New
Come as you are. There's a place for you here.

We know visiting a church for the first time can bring questions. We want your first experience at Upon This Rock to be comfortable, welcoming, and meaningful. Here are answers to some common questions before you visit.

1. What should I expect when I arrive?

You can expect to be welcomed by friendly people who are glad you came. Our team will help you find your way, answer your questions, and allow you to experience the service without pressure.

2. What should I wear?

Come as you are. Some people dress casually, while others prefer traditional church attire. What matters most is that you feel comfortable and ready to worship.

3. What is the worship service like?

Our services include prayer, worship, Scripture, and practical biblical preaching. Our desire is to create an atmosphere where people can encounter God, grow in faith, and receive encouragement for everyday life.

4. How long does the service last?

Our worship service generally lasts between 60 and 75 minutes. Special services or events may last a little longer.

5. Are children welcome?

Yes! Children and families are important to Upon This Rock. Age-appropriate ministry information and check-in instructions will be available when you arrive. Our goal is to provide a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for every child.

6. Will I be asked to give money?

Guests are welcome to participate in giving, but there is no obligation. Giving is an act of worship for those who consider Upon This Rock their church home.

7. Do I have to become a member to attend?

No. You are welcome to attend, worship, and learn more about the church before making any commitment. When you are ready, we will gladly explain our membership process and help you take your next step.
